Nathan Angel, President Nathan Angel, President
2017 - 2019
Nathan Angel is the Belgard Sales Manager for Superlite Block an Oldcastle Company. I have been in the hardscape industry for the past 17 years and a member of the ICPI Southwest Board of Directors for 10 years. I have enjoyed affecting the promotion of the hardscapes industry and the excellent members of ICPI Southwest as the most informed experienced hardscapes workforce in the State of Arizona. I look forward to the future of this organization as it continues to grow.


Carl Huffman Jr., Vice President Carl Huffman Jr., Vice President

Carl Huffman is the General Manager of Phoenix Paver. I have been in the hardscapes industry for 12 years. Carl has been an active board member of ICPI Southwest Chapter for 10 years and the current Vice President of ICPI Southwest Chapter. I believe that the best part of being ICPI Southwest Chapter Board Member is that it provides me a platform to truly promote the use of all of our products on a regular basis. Also, I feel by collaborating in a team atmosphere with the other board members helps the progression in finding innovative ways to help promote the industry's growth.


Brent Alquist, Treasurer Brent Almquist, Treasurer
2017 - 2019
Brent Almquist is the Product Manager Tile & Stone Division of RWC Building Products. My entire career has been in retail and manufacturing of building materials. I have been a member of ICPI Southwest Chapter from its inception. Also, I have been on the ICPI Southwest Chapter Board of Directors for ten consecutive years. I believe that the best part of being an ICPI Southwest Chapter Board Member is continuing to help the industry strive for a consistency in expectation and quality. I feel by promoting a set of high standard of excellence will only help meet the demands of today's customer, thus helping them to have a lifetime of beautiful paver projects.


John Traynor, Director John Traynor, Creative Director

John Traynor is the owner of Stone Creations. I have been in the hardscape industry in Arizona for the last 21 years. I spent 6 years on the manufacturing side before moving to the installation side of the business. I have been involved with the Board for 7 years. The best part of being involved in ICPI Southwest Chapter is the great exchange of ideas and experiences from people in all areas of the industry. There are some great people and great companies involved in ICPI Southwest Chapter, and it gives us the platform to raise our industry to a more professional level.


Rex Mann, Director Rex Mann, Director

Rex Mann, Owner of Pavers Installed Company. I have been in the Hardscapes industry for 22 years. I have been an active ICPI Southwest Chapter Board Member since 2012. I believe that being a small contractor helps me to bring insight and the perspective from other small business owners to the ICPI Southwest Chapter; in order to help other members voice their concerns. Also, I enjoy getting to know the other members personally during the meetings and events. I feel that being part of the ICPI Southwest Chapter Board Member helps me network while staying abreast on industry's trends and issues.


Steve Biernacki, Director Steve Biernacki, Director

Steve Biernacki is the owner of Urban Earth Landscaping. He has been in this industry for 23 years. This is my fourth year on the ICPI Southwest Chapter Board of Directors. I believe that being a member of the ICPI Southwest Chapter Board provides me with unique access to industry leaders while affording me the ability to network and to work effectively with a team of professionals towards a common goal. It also gives me the opportunity to give back by helping to increase public awareness on the correct way to install pavers.


Jon Roberts, Director Jon Roberts, Director

Jon Roberts is the owner of Re-Create Companies. I have been in the hardscaping industry for 12 years, and this will be my third year on ICPI's Board of Directors. I wanted to become a member of the board so I could bring more awareness to the paver industry through networking and educational opportunities. I am also an active member of Mason Contractors Association of America, Arizona Masonry Contractors Association and the Arizona Masonry Guild. I enjoy being a part of the ICPI because it allows me to network with my fellow peers and it offers various educational opportunities that will in return help advance my career and business.


Jim Carr, Director Jim Carr, Director

Jim Carr is a Branch Manager for Marvel Building and Masonry Supply and has been in the industry for 22 years. This will be my second year as an ICPI's Board of Director. I believe that ICPI is a great organization that helps support, as well as drives our industry. ICPI helps create industry standards while promoting educational opportunities and in return, the industry prospers and thrives for installers, dealers, and manufacturers.


Chris Wentland, Director Chris Wentland, Director
2016 - 2018
Chris Wentland is the owner of CYC Landscaping. I have been in the industry for 17 years, and this will be my second year on the board. My hope is that we will be able to help educate homeowners on the proper way to install pavers. It is important for homeowners to follow ICPI guidelines, to ensure they have a long lasting finished project.


Todd Steward, Director Todd Steward, Director
2016 - 2018
Todd Steward is a Hardscape Representative for Pioneer Landscape Centers in the state of Arizona. This will be my second year as a director, and I am looking forward to the growth of the ICPI Southwest Chapter. I have been in the industry for 17 years and have worked in both the manufacturing and distribution sides of the business. I look forward to working with my peers to continue to develop and train on proper construction methods and help satisfy the need for formal training, as well as raise the level of professionalism in our industry.


Renee Boyer, Director Renee Boyer, Director
2016 - 2018
Renee Boyer is an Architectural Sales Representative at Ackerstone Industries. I have been in the industry for 6 years, and this will be my second year serving on the ICPI Southwest Chapter Board of Directors. I also belong, as well as participate with the AzASLA for over 16 years. I welcome, as well as enjoy the opportunity to work with my peers and believe that ICPI offers wonderful networking opportunities. While severing my time as a director, my intention is to help grow and expand ICPI's membership.

Bill Wilson, Director Bill Wilson, Director
2017 - 2019
Bill has been a Stone Specialist with Monterrey Tile for 15 years. Prior to joining Monterrey, I owned my own contracting company and installed thousands of square feet of stone and pavers throughout Arizona. This will be my first year serving on the ICPI board. In my spare time, I enjoy coaching girls fastpitch softball, as well as act as the Head Coach of the All-American Arizona Powered by Mizuno 16. I also coach the Cactus Canyon Junior High softball team, and I am the Assistant Varsity Coach at Apache Junction High School.

Joey Galea, Director Joey Galea, Director
2017-2019
Joey Galea is the owner of Plum Custom Landscape. I have been in the industry for 11 Years, and this will be my first year on ICPI Board of Directors. I wanted to become a board member to not only learn and network but to also help promote ICPI. Not only do I believe that it is important to help build and grow this industry, but I would like to help educate my peers on the importance of becoming involved and supporting the organization, so it can grow and prosper. I am very excited to be a contributor of innovative influence to both the board and to our region.
